Madagascar Hissing Cockroach

Madagascar Hissing Cockroach (Gromphadorhina portentosa) are a very unique species of invertabrate due to their ability to make a 'hissing sound'!

Abroad many enthusiasts keep them as pets but they can also be used as feeder insects for large reptiles and mammals in moderation ( as an occasioanal treat due to their hard exoskeleton)!

Sexing is easy after a certain age, the male has 2 humps on top of the head, while the female is mostly flat!
