Porcellinoides Pruinosus 'White'

Porcellinoides Pruinosus 'Grey' is a very common and beginner friendly species of isopod. It can be used as a feeder insect for small animals and other invertebrates but they are also popular as a clean up crew, they will readily consume the waste produced by your animals in a bio-active set-up maintaining a clean and hygienic environment.

Select them if  you have high humidity set ups and/or tropical species!

They can also be kept as a standalone pet in a separate container, a hobby which becomes increasingly popular abroad!

Care

• They require humidity levels of 70-80%
• Top-Soil free of pesticides and other additives or just humid terrarium substrate
• Leaf Litter, Tree Bark or small sticks 
• Sphagnum moss which must be kept moist
• Regular misting, note that the soil must be wet but not damp with no pockets of water
• Feeding is easy, you can put fish food, small pieces of vegetables, fruits and grains
• There must be ventilation holes drilled on the container for adequate air flow
